Ngano Dzedu — Modest Fashion E-Commerce
A modest-fashion storefront, admin system and API built to trade before the brand had a payment gateway, professional photography or final pricing — with every missing piece designed as a switch rather than a rebuild.
Project Goals
- Launch a real, honest shop for a brand whose infrastructure was not yet in place.
- Support made-to-order pieces with deposits and balances, not just in-stock checkout.
- Let the owner run the entire store — products, media, orders, content — without a developer.
- Make payments and cloud storage a one-line switch when the accounts exist.
Development Process
The build is a three-application platform — storefront, admin and API — sharing one database. Payments and file storage sit behind driver registries so an unconfigured provider stays inert and announces itself, rather than failing at checkout. Products carry a sale mode (in stock, pre-order, concept or enquiry-only) so the catalogue can tell the truth about what is actually buyable.
